In this three-day course, instructor candidates will learn about the role of communication in law enforcement. They will develop, apply, and instruct specific communication skills and strategies in a variety of simulated situations. Role-play scenarios will be emphasized. Upon completion of this course, candidates will be recognized by the WI LESB as certified Professional Communication Instructors, as recognized in the Unified Tactical field. Must have completed the 32-hour CJ-IDC course before attending, OR be a currently-certified LESB instructor. Must be a certified officer with at least 3 years experience. Must pass any skills evaluation conducted at the beginning of this course.
