SFST Instructor

This course prepares law enforcement professionals to effectively administer and teach the Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated (OMVWI)/Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) training program. It emphasizes techniques that support active learning, various learning preferences and needs, and continuous improvement in teaching/learning. Successful students will become LESB certified SFST Instructors. Required Equipment: Laptop with PowerPoint and SFST Instructor Candidate Participant Manual (Downloaded or printed version from WILENET: Academies and Curriculum; Instructor Courses; SFST Instructor Course).

You must submit the required DOJ paperwork before June 4, 2025 to complete your registration: DJ-LE-336, DJ-LE-310, copy of IDC Certificate or ACADIS Training Record. Email documents to Mai Vang at mvang77@cvtc.edu.
