This course will provide students with a comprehensive introduction to investigating a wide range of common financial crimes. The course will cover the following topics: counterfeit currency investigations, forgery investigations, fraud investigations, embezzlement cases, elder financial abuse cases, financial records analysis, electronic evidence collection overview, investigative resources. Students will be exposed to scenario training sessions that are drawn from real world cases. Various templates for reports along with a thumb drive of supplemental materials will be provide.
