This 4 hour live fire course is an introduction to the basic fundamentals of shooting a handgun. Areas to be covered will include
firearm safety, maintenance of the weapon, function and design of the weapon, equipment, shooting fundamentals (proper stance
and grip, sight picture, trigger control and breathing control) drawing, recovery, loading, unloading and tactical reloading.
All equipment will be provided by CVTC to include the firearm with magazines, 50 rounds of ammunition, holster, magazine pouches,
ballistic vest, eye and ear protection. The students are required to wear trousers that have belt loops with a trouser belt strong
enough to support the tactical equipment that will be provided. The students will be required to have a Conceal Carry License from
the State of Wisconsin. This class will be taught by Master Instructor Jed Sperry who has been teaching firearms for 30 years.
